Artistic production
  • Pierre Dorion has always been interested in the history of painting. For more than twenty years, the artist has scrutinized its tools, techniques, materials, theories, genres and iconography with the goal of extracting the universal experience hidden in this material history.

  • 1997 winner of the Louis-Comtois award discerned by the City of Montréal in conjunction with the Association des galeries d’art contemporain de Montréal.
