Fleurs et dominosThis work vibrates with the rhythm of intense, bright hues. The colours and lines defining the objects lend vitality and expressiveness. Red, yellow and green recall the Fauvist palette and the use of volume and the composition’s structure reflect Cubist thinking. The influence of Surrealism can be seen in the background with its arabesques and weightless animals.
