Research on the Internet

Information (artist’s name, title of work, format, materials, origin, etc.) on all works belonging to the Musée collection is available from Artefacts Canada (Canadian Heritage Information Network) and the Société des musées québécois Info-Muse database. The Artefacts Canada Image gallery contains some 8 000 works owned by the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec.


Research at the Musée
Researchers can access the Musée’s curatorial files by making an appointment with the Collections and Research Division at (418) 644-6460, ext. 3359. These files may be consulted on-site from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
