CPOA - Prêt d’œuvres d’art collection

The Prêt d'œuvres d'art collection (CPOA), a collection of works by contemporary Québec artists available for loan, was created in 1982 by the Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec (currently the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications) and the Musée.

Since its inception, the Musée has been responsible for managing and disseminating works through a leasing program available to government entities.

Currently, this collection boasts more than 1500 works. Every year, the Musée makes new acquisitions through a competition inviting artists to submit their creations to the CPOA selection committee.
