Le Monde du caribouThe Inuit village of Kangiqsualujjuaq is located near the site of the world’s largest annual caribou migration. It was here, in 1964, that 12-year-old Peter Morgan learned to carve. He learned the basics from watching his father, Joseph Morgan (1914-1985), also a sculptor. Carving caribou antler requires enormous concentration, given the many small details the artist incorporates into his work.
