Toonoo Sharky (born in 1970), Cape Dorset, Baffin Island (Nunavut)
Faucon
Sharky grew up surrounded by artists of different cultural backgrounds, which reflects his attitude towards creation. His imaginative, highly complex works explore the possibilities of his art and his ties to the Inuit culture. He is known for his pieces combining Arctic wildlife with masks or human faces.
