Training
  • Self-taught
  • Attended the École des arts visuels et médiatiques of the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2001-2002.
Artistic production
  • Mathieu Beauséjour is known primarily for his operation of stamping bank bills, Survival Virus de survie (1991-1999), whose “annual reports” and other related productions have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions. Since 2000, he has concentrated on Internationale Virologie Numismatique, a collective work of varying dimensions through which he continues diverting signs (flags, posters, emblems, etc.).
Alongside his artistic career
  • Coordinator of the Clark art and dissemination centre in Montréal since 1999.
  • Co-curator, with Nathalie de Blois, of the event TRAFIC in Abitibi-Témiscamingue in spring 2005.
