  • B.A. (Plastic Arts) from the Université Laval de Québec from 1972 to 1975.
Artistic production
  • Artist-photographer Raymonde April has been known since the late 1970s for her minimalist practice inspired by daily life, something of a documentary, autobiography and fiction.
Alongside her artistic career
  • taught photography at Concordia University in Montréal since 1985.
Of note
  • 2003 winner of the Paul-Émile-Borduas award, the highest distinction reserved for an artist by the Québec government.
